This is probably Europe's finest Surf school. The team are all British Surfing Association Level 1,2,3 and 4 qualified Instructors. Also, all Instructors are professional beach lifeguards. Our Surf School in Lanzarote is a British Surfing Association Level 4 Approved Surf School, the BSA's highest award and is the only British Surfing Association Level 4 Approved surf school outside the UK. It is also the only International Surfing Association registered School in the Canaries. These qualifications ensure the highest standards of quality coaching and safety.

We know that Surfing is so much fun but sometimes frustrating without the help and guidance that Surfers often give each other. Our Surf School in Lanzarote is at the cutting edge of Surf teaching. It is situated in the beautiful village of Caleta de Famara in the Northwest of Lanzarote. Consistent waves, warm water and spectacular scenery all add to the experience of learning Surfing in a safe and friendly environment.

Accommodation for many of you will be in the beautiful village of Caleta de Famara. This village is in a protected area, as is the beach Playa de Famara. Staying here you will find you are in the most tranquil of surroundings but if you feel the need for some nightlife other than a great meal and a beer you will find it a short trip away at the busy resort of Puerto del Carmen.

You may find that you want to stay in the holiday resorts of Puerto del Carmen or Costa de Teguise. If so, you will be picked up each morning by our minibuses. In each 5 day course there is, of course, a rest day, giving you time to chill out. Of course you may want to stay longer on the Island than just a week and that’s no problem with us.

The Canary Islands are blessed with being one of the most consistent surf breaks in the Northern Atlantic. There's a 6.5 Kilometre stretch of sandy golden beach that curves from West facing to North and is able to pick up waves from many directions and surf less days just don't exist. In summer, when the rest Europe suffers with little or no surf the North East trade winds bring in swell and good rideable waves. In Autumn , Winter and Spring the Atlantic storms in the far north send waves marching towards the Canaries and the surf never stops. Truly one of the worlds most wave blessed surf zones and ideal for all level of surfer from beginner to expert

Consistent waves, warm water and good weather year round make lanzarote the perfect place for all levels of surfer at any time of the year

The waves from May to September average at about 4 feet (1.2 metres) and from October to April at about 6 feet (1.8 metres.)
