Northern Spain Surf Tour
A unique adventure for all abilities that spans
from as far west as the
left-handers of Rodiles to just a stones throw
from the French border where the sun sets on our last evening in the
cosmopolitan sea-side city of
San Sebastian.
See your surfing ability rocket with up to 7 hours of surf sessions each day at up to 12 different surf-breaks during the week. The fun doesn't stop when you put the surfboard down either - lunchbreaks offer beautiful towns, villages and countryside to explore and we've always got a bundle of beach games on-board to keep you busy. There are great nights-out too, of 'tapas & copas', as well as our sunset beach barbeque party.
If all this sounds like a lot of hard work then take time out to relax with a sunbathing siesta on the beach or perhaps soak up the local vibe with a coffee or a cool refreshing drink. However you chose to spend your week, the Surf-Atlantico Surfari really is 'a point break from the routine.'
What's Included:

The week-long Surfari Adventure is a 1000km road-trip through the 3 beautiful regions of Asturias, Cantabria and The Basque Country in Northern Spain. We stop for 2 nigts in each of these regions so therefore you'll experience 3 different accommodations.
In Asturias you'll spend a comfortable 2 nights camping on Ribadesella's 1st Catagory campsite with your own private tent, sleeping bag, pillow and roll mat. The campsite has everything you need and more including an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, shop , WIFI coverage, bar and restaurant and spotless facilities.
For the Cantabria stage of the trip you'll stay in our cosy cliff-top guesthouse with private room, sea views (check the surf without getting out of bed!), sun terrace and a location to die for - situated as it is between 2 of the best surfing beaches in Spain.
For the final 2 nights you'll be back under canvas in Zarautz's stunning campsite overlooking the beach and town.

Northern Spain is Europe's best-kept surfing
secret. The undulating Biscay coastline serves up endless year-round
surfing options for seasoned pros and novices alike and Santander, with
its central location, is the ideal jumping off point. For those with a
true spirit of adventure, the ocean road west reveals crystalline
waters and pristine beaches. As surfing enjoys a worldwide boom in
popularity, here is a place where you can still escape the crowds and
where every turn in the road offers a new discovery. Whatever you're
searching for, northern Spain is a surfers' paradise.
THE DAILY TELEGRAPH Northern Spain supplement 2008.
This area is an incredibly varied and satisfying
surf destination with some of the biggest, longest and most perfect
waves on the planet. Surfing is a highly sociable experience in line
with other aspects of Spanish cultural life. Naturally animated,
colourful and hospitable, the Spanish have retained a friendly
curiousity towards the international surf tribes who wander through
their rich land. If you're prepared to fit in, Spain offers an exotic
and quintessential European travel experience.
